The scientific work of our graduate student Hata Botonjić selected as the best research paper at one of the largest conferences in the field of gastroenterology in America

Hata Botonjic, a final year student at the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine, has done scientific work on "Changes in bone mass in patients with bowel failure after parenteral nutrition and patients after bowel transplantation" during her stay at Cambridge University in England.

The paper was accepted at one of the largest ASPEN gastroenterology conferences in America, at which Botonjić participated as the only student in the entire conference.

In addition to all the scientists and top doctors, her scientific work, which she presented at the most prestigious clinic in the world - Mayo Clinic, was defended for the best work of Congress. At the ceremony, she was presented with the award for the best research work, which made a significant contribution to the field of gastroenterology.

This award is just one in a series that the future doctor received during her education. Namely, as a student at Richmond Park College in Bihać, she has participated in a number of projects with which she has performed at international and world competitions and won several gold medals, and is also the best student at the University of Zagreb, School of Medicine with an average of 5.0.

With her hard work and dedication, she has achieved the extraordinary success that has opened her door to many world-renowned clinics. With this, she certainly presented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the world in the most beautiful light.
